Using the Path’s mindfulness techniques, Renée shows you how to get dancers – or movers of any movement format – out of their heads and into their bodies. Now tuned in, without the mental chatter, students more easily pick up new and unfamiliar moves. Renée also sprinkles on the secret sauce to make it fun!
With Kumu Māila’s compassionate, inclusive Path to Moving Meditation approach to hula, everyone feels supported, not judged. No need for competition and comparison. Encouraged and elevated, her students keep coming back for more. Be inspired by her use of imagery to guide students’ steps and arm movements. See how she does it!
Both Māila and Kachina make you feel safe and warmly invited into the space, whether you are joining from home or in person.
So, if you are an instructor with at least 5 years in your discipline, including 2 years of teaching experience, we welcome you to this exciting workshop!
